How many kinds of pets have you had since you were a kid?

What kind of pet(s) do I want to have?
And why?

I used to think I wanted have a big pet. A dog like Labrador has big eyes, mouth, and ears with a round head that wears a beautiful light brown coat, which moves rhythmically when the dog walks.

A big bird not for hunting, but that likes to talk, being humorous (from humans’ perspective). It is the bird that falls into the category — a white cockatoo. Their “finger licking good” is like how we do after having yummy finger food.

I pet-sat a big dog before. The size was similar to the Labrador. I had small dogs, and I loved them — Maltese and Dachshund. But I never spent a long period with a big dog.

I’m curious. What if I have a big dog?
