This Is Our Fun First Date
Lucky us.
The sounds of small metal objects and steps of happiness echo in the corridor — the rhythms are bouncing on the wooden floor, ceiling, and into the living room. Win happily grabs his leash and the bag, which has everything he needs for a long walk.
After getting groomed, Win knows it is his job to get those and waits for Joe. He looks up, watching Joe go back and forth as he grabs a few things.
“Ok, let’s go!” Joe says to Win, marching toward the door and the car. Although it is early morning, they feel it will be a beautiful sunny day. Several birds fly by. Some sing while other birds have breakfast on the branches.
Both have their sunglasses ready in the car.
Joy checks her watch. It’s almost time to leave. She grabs her bag to go downstairs. The bakery isn’t open, but the sounds and the fragrance of freshly baked pastries have escaped from the closed door to the quiet atmosphere of the weekend; it is like getting ready to ring a bell for a busy day.
She feels she will get hungry soon if she continues to enjoy the warm and delicious aromas wafting from the bakery.
