I Thought About Making Doughnuts
How many ingredients?
I watched two YouTube videos by the same person, Yukari.
What I watched was making doughnuts in untraditional methods — making doughnuts with fewer ingredients to make French Crullers and Old Fashion!!
Those were fun to watch!
#1 For French Crullers, she mainly used just TWO ingredients: Tempura flour, Regular mayonnaise. It also needed some water. (Mostly in Japanese: https://youtu.be/G8Lbk9Ggayo?t=67)
#2 For Old Fashion, she mainly used FOUR ingredients: Regular pancake mix, White sugar, Vegetable oil, and An egg. (Mostly in Japanese: https://youtu.be/BGr_aE5cyAs?t=46)
For French Crullers, she used less oil, and for Old Fashion, she used much more oil to make it tastier.
She made them look so easy. That made me want to try.
I may try using other types of flour I can find around the kitchen and experiment with it.
But first thing first, I made one Old Fashion with Chocolate and two French Crullers with icing using Blender (the featured image).
It satisfied my craving, perhaps about half.
As you know, our love for doughnuts never ends.
I would probably show the photo of doughnuts and write about the flour and other ingredients I used if I made them.
Thanks for reading or listening!
