  1. Never give up, but you can give up at the right time

The year 2020 was so hard for me and so many others. I haven’t heard anyone saying it was an easy year.

Some probably had to juggle both work and study, or experienced their work hours reduced, or lost …

I’ve been there, really.

I had to have a major surgery also. Although I was even trying to write up an important paper the night before my surgery. Then I finally had to leave my postgraduate course behind.

I was trying so hard to keep everything going, but then at one point, I realized that I had to prioritize my health. It is more important than anything.

No more exacerbating my physical conditions.

It came to my mind.

That is how I decided to stop my struggles and decided to focus on my own health since I survived an about 5-hour long surgery.

My mother sometimes referred to what her mother used to say, “Sometimes, you win when you give up.”

Things can be done again or later, you can give up. That’s your win.

Oh, my grandmother was so wise.

2. Your interests will guide you further

My psychology professor taught his students that things caught your mind at this moment but less likely to stay in your mind 3 years or 5 years later, we shouldn’t be too worried about it.
